Dr. Mayda Gonzalez-Bosch, the Associate Vice President for Health Professions at SUNY Orange, has been honored as one of the Top 50 Women Leaders in Education for 2024 by Women We Admire, a leading organization for women executives across North America. Ranked seventh on the prestigious list, Gonzalez-Bosch is recognized for her transformative leadership in education. 

Women We Admire, one of the fastest-growing professional networks for women, highlights influential leaders across various fields, including education, medicine, and law. The organization reaches over 32,000 individuals and businesses, emphasizing the achievements of women who break barriers and create opportunities for future generations. 

Gonzalez-Bosch, who joined SUNY Orange in January 2024, has quickly made a significant impact. Under her leadership, the health professions division has seen substantial growth, with a focus on developing new programs and securing grant opportunities. Her strategic vision has enriched the curriculum, enhanced the teaching environment, and supported faculty development.
