Prominent British Businesswoman Claudine Reid Appointed as Global Lead by US Business Hub

Claudine Reid MBE, one of the most prominent businesswomen within Britain’s Black Christian community, has been appointed as the Global Opportunities UK leader for the Atlanta Black Chamber of Commerce. This prestigious role will see her building bridges between Black entrepreneurs in the UK and the thriving business community of Atlanta, renowned as a hub for Black entrepreneurship in America.

Atlanta is home to some of Black America’s leading entrepreneurs, including billionaire Tyler Perry. Claudine’s new role will entail fostering connections and facilitating trade partnerships between Black entrepreneurs in the UK and their counterparts in Atlanta.

An award-winning businesswoman, Claudine is the Managing Director of PJs Community Services and serves as the Chair of Lloyds Bank Business Advisory group. She has expressed her delight at this new appointment, stating, “It’s a really exciting appointment, not only for what it means for Atlanta, connecting with entrepreneurs across the UK, but also the opportunities it presents for Black entrepreneurs in the UK.”

Claudine’s responsibilities will involve identifying and pursuing new opportunities for trade partnerships within the UK from the Atlanta side. Additionally, she will be tasked with implementing strategies to build relationships with key stakeholders and helping Black entrepreneurs leverage the types of opportunities available in Atlanta.

This appointment represents a significant milestone in fostering economic collaboration and empowerment within the Black business community on a global scale. Claudine’s extensive experience and deep connections within Britain’s Black Christian community position her uniquely to facilitate meaningful connections and open doors for Black entrepreneurs in both regions.
