Public relations expert Lynne Franks is launching a business club tailored for women in Somerset. Her SEED Hub Club, situated at 3 Market Place in Wincanton, will provide a collaborative workspace where local businesswomen can work, network, share ideas, and participate in various business skills workshops.
Franks, known for advising major corporations on women’s engagement such as McDonald’s, Tesco, and HSBC, initiated the hub in response to the growing demand for dedicated work and networking spaces for women in the area. The hub will be open five days a week, catering to self-employed individuals, local business owners, non-profit organizations, and those seeking advice on starting a new venture.
Expressing her belief in the power of female collaboration, Franks highlighted the transformative potential of bringing women together, fostering new connections, sparking business collaborations, and sharing inspirational stories. She emphasized the importance of integrating feminine values and a holistic approach to unleash untapped potential in individuals, businesses, and communities, both locally and globally.
To introduce the SEED Hub Club to the community, a launch event is scheduled for Monday (April 15) from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm, featuring opportunities for local businesspeople to explore the offerings. The event will also feature a ‘Seed Sowing Ceremony’ at 1:00 pm.
Franks expressed her excitement about the launch, inviting everyone to join the introductory event and envisioning the SEED Hub Club as a space where local businesswomen can nurture enterprise, projects, and ideas, facilitating growth and success in a dedicated environment.
Notable community initiatives spearheaded by Franks at the SEED Hub include youth projects in collaboration with Somerset Council and business start-up training programs tailored for local women in partnership with the Balsam Centre.
